Tools needed

  • Knitting board
  • Crochet hook
Before casting-on, review the good loom knitting habits. It's important not to wrap tightly.

This cast-on is worked from the right side of the loom to the left.

  1. Make a slip not and place it last peg on the upper rake.

  2. Make a figure eight stitch with the peg directory below on the lower rake.

  3. Repeat step 2 so that there are two wraps on the last column of pegs.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each column of pegs moving one column to the left at a time.

  5. After all of the pegs have two wraps on them, knit off.
