Stitch patterns
A stitch pattern are a
combination of stitches that are done over the course of
a row or rows. Directions are given for common stitch
patterns, such as rib and garter. On the knitting board,
you will mostly work stitch patterns and not individual
stitches. Most stitch patterns require two passes, first
moving from left to right down the knitting board and
then moving from right to left until all of the pegs have
been wrapped. A few require that you wrap all of the pegs
each way down the board. Each way will be noted in the
directions of each stitch pattern. If more than one way
to wrap the board for the same stitch pattern is known,
it is described under the directions. If there's a stitch
pattern that you're interested in that isn't listed or if
you would like to add a stitch pattern that you own the
copyright to, please
