purses, etc. Better yet, it's easy to make!

The following directions are for fringe that is 9" in length. Change the height dimension of the cardboard to match the length of the fringe needed for your project.
- Cut a piece of cardboard that is 3"x9".
- Both loosely and evenly, wind the
yarn around the cardboard lengthwise (9") until
the card is filled.
- With scissors, cut across one end.
- Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you have the
desired number of fringes.
- Hold together the number of fringes needed
and then fold in half.
- Turn the wrong side of the project facing
you.
- With a crochet hook, draw the folded end
through the stitch and pull the loose ends
through the folded end.
- Draw the knot up tightly.
- Repeat steps 7 & 8, spacing the fringe
as directed or as desired.
- When finished, lay the project flat on a hard surface and trim the ends.
