  1. Make a slip not and place it on your crochet hook.
You will be working around the loom from right to left. For flat knitting, you will end on the last peg, for circular knitting, you will end on peg 1.
  2. Place the crochet hook on the outside of the knitting board in front of peg 1 and bring the working yarn to the back of the peg. Grab the working yarn with your crochet hook and crochet a single stitch so that it wraps peg 1.

  3. Repeat step 2 for all the desired pegs.

  4. Place the wrap that is on the crochet hook on the first/last peg.
From the front of the loom, you will see two wraps on each peg. On the back, you will see one except for flat knitting where the last peg will have only one wrap.
  5. Knit the next row with the stitches that you desire, working the two wraps on the bottom as one.
